I’m posting my response to the email from Comcast regarding these resolutions, as the email was circulated to all commissioners.
Ms. Hayden
Can you please specifically identify the areas of conflict? This will allow us to think about the issue as well, before even receiving the proposed changes.
Thank you.

Subject: [External]Request to Postpone Resolutions R-25-9-902 and R-25-9-903
Dear Commissioners,
Comcast has reviewed the language included in the utility-related resolutions on your September agenda. We have identified conflicts between the proposed language and Comcast’s existing pole attachment agreements with local utilities, as well as inconsistencies with the franchise agreement between Comcast and Knox County.
To allow our legal team sufficient time to propose amended language that resolves these issues, we respectfully request a 90-day postponement of Resolutions R-25-9-902 and R-25-9-903.
We appreciate your consideration and look forward to working collaboratively to address these concerns.
Kindest regards,
Kim
