Fellow Commissioners,

Dru has checked the availability of the meeting rooms for the week of December 6-10 and they are very booked. However, there is availability in the Small Assembly on the afternoon of the 7th.

Accordingly, I am proposing that we hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 7 at 4:30pm in the Small Assembly, followed by a Special Session to appoint Judge Emery’s successor. This will give us 8 days to review applications after the November 29 deadline, and will give the appointee ample time to make arrangements to assume the bench on January 1.
