Pursuant to my email concerning the Redistricting Ordinance schedule, please reply to this post as Yes or No if you are in agreement with the schedule. The prosed schedule is as follows:
Oct 21 @5p – Special Session to consider Redistricting Ordinance in Small Assembly
Oct 28 @5p – Public Hearing on Redistricting Ordinance in Small Assembly
Oct 28 @5p – Special Session to consider Redistricting Ordinance on Second Reading in Small Assembly following Public Hearing.
Since this process involves convening Special Sessions of the Commission, it would be best to have a consensus from the body before proceeding. If you would like further explanation regarding the reason for this schedule, please read my email titled “Redistricting Ordinance” sent at 11:44am today. Thanks to each of you.
