      Dear Commissioners,
I wanted to go over the dates and reminder timelines for Dec. meeting.
Also please don’t forget we have our emergency management tour tomorrow at 1 p.m. you should have received an email from Colin with info and directions.

      Dates:

All agenda items must be submitted by Monday, November 25th.

The preliminary agenda will be posted on Tuesday, November 26th. Please review the agenda before attending the Optional Agenda Review meeting.

The Optional Agenda Review meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 9. at 3 p.m. This meeting is our fact-finding opportunity to bring questions for staff, other commissioners, etc. If your questions have been answered at the conclusion of that meeting and you have no further concerns, the item can remain on consent. However, if you still have concerns and want to discuss the item more thoroughly, you can pull the item from consent by Noon on Wednesday, Dec. 11th. If you have no concerns with the agenda at all, you do not need to attend this meeting. This is why it is optional.

Our zoning meeting will be at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9.
Our regular commission meeting will be hold on Monday, Dec. 16th.
      Beer Board Dec. 16 at 4 p.m.

For the Dec. 16 meeting please consider wearing festive attire. Being our last meeting of the year it is fun to dress up.

I hope these dates and times help.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for our tour. I wish you all a blessed week, and a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving.

      Sincerely,
      Gina

        Thank you, Madam Chair.

This is very helpful. In addition, if Commissioners do have questions for Department Staff, it is the responsibility of the Commissioner to reach out to the Staff member ahead of time and request that they be present at the Agenda Review to answer those questions. As you mentioned, the Agenda Review is when discussion regarding agenda items should occur so that Commissioners feel well informed and ready to vote at the regular business meeting.
