Carson Dailey

9th District Commissioner
2nd Term: 2020-2024

Carson retired as the Sr. Account Manager of Applied Industrial Technologies for Dixie Bearing, Inc., with 38 years of service. Carson is serving his first term as the ninth district commissioner. Carson was a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) since the formation of the board in November 2008. He has served as a member of the Knox County Ethics Committee 2008-2010, Knox County Sheriffs Citizens Academy, Carson has been active in his community for the past 40 years. Some of the community service is as follows, Board of Directors Marble Springs Historic site, Board of directors Candoro Marble Arts and Heritage Center, Board of directors Ijams Nature center, South Doyle Neighborhood Association Inc (SDNA) Coordinator for SDNA adopt a road and SDNA adopt a stream (Stock Creek). Stock Creek Watershed Task Force, City of Knoxville Neighborhood Conference speaker and committee, Adopt a Road Government Farm, Chairman Mission of Hope and Toys for Tots, Founder Boy Scouts of America Troop 36, Cub Master Pack 236. MEDIC 250 unit platelets donor, His goal is to insure proper development through observance of Knox County regulations while maintaining the natural beauty and integrity of our community.

Carson and Tammy have one son Jeremy, daughter in law Elizabeth, grandson Vincent and granddaughter Victoria.
