Gina Oster

1st Term: 2022-2026

Gina Oster is serving her first term on Knox County Commission after being elected in August 2022. She represents District 3, which includes Cedar Bluff, Ball Camp, Bearden, and Amherst. She currently serves on the Beer Board, Joint Education, Finance Committee, Chair of Insolvency Board, Three Ridges Golf Course Advisory Board and Legislative Affairs.

Gina has served her community most of her adult life. She served as Legislative Chair, VP, and President for Cedar Bluff Schools PTSA. Gina won the state of TN PTA Legislative award. She served as VP on Karns High Football Boosters. Appointed by then Mayor Burchett to the Knox County Ethics Committee. She served on the Knox County Sheriff Merit Council, the Knox County Tax Equalization Board, and a Graduate of the District Attorney General’s Citizens Academy.

Gina has been a realtor since 2005 and loves helping her clients find the perfect home.  Gina served on the Governmental Affairs committee with the Knoxville Board of Realtors. She also served as the State of TN legislative liaison for Realtors.

Gina grew up in Knoxville and attended Ball Camp Elementary and graduated from Karns High School. She attended Pellissippi State before getting married to her Husband of 34 years, Stanton Oster. They raised three sons Stanton, Alexander and Matthew who are all married and live in East Tennessee. She is now fortunate to be called “Gigi” by two grandchildren.
